NOTICES
I’ve recently launched a Patreon space for 42 Yoga, where I’ll be sharing a new half-hour themed practice each week (along with a free five-minute practice). These sessions include extra things like breathwork and meditation as well as yoga. It is designed to support a simple, steady home practice. Gold Class members, you will continue to receive these weekly practices here on the website as part of your membership, along with the full library of existing classes. Try them out as a morning practice you do once in a week, or every day for a week. Find the half-hour practices here, and the short practices on the Free Membership page.
NEW FEATURES
You can now keep track of your yoga journey right here on the site! At the side of each class page, you’ll find a My Notes section — a private space just for you. Use it to record that you have completed that class. You could also use it to jot down when you completed it, how it made you feel, or any insights that came up in your practice. Anything really! Only you will be able to see the notes. You might also like to record why you’d return to that class again — perhaps it lifted your mood, opened your heart, or helped you sleep deeply. Over time, your notes will become a personal journal of your growth and the classes that most support your wellbeing. Just click on the ‘My Notes’ message on the right-hand side and it will expand. There you can type in your notes, then click the arrow ‘send’ icon in the bottom right of the box.
You will see it on this page, so you can test it out!
Each week you’ll now find a new half-hour practice in the library, designed to support a simple and sustainable home yoga rhythm. These sessions weave yoga together with other things like breathwork, and meditation, and are centred around a weekly theme or intention.
You might choose to practise once a week as a reset, return to the same session a few times during the week, or make it part of a daily ritual — letting the repetition deepen your awareness and connection to the practice. However you choose to engage, the idea is simple: a steady, supportive practice you can return to again and again.
